Our Doctrinal Beliefs
Our Statement of Faith

The Bible –

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible and unchangeable from Genesis to Revelation. Its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It bears all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical kingdom behaviors. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).

The Triune Godhead-

We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that the three are One. The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed "I AM" and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association by simultaneously existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isa. 43:10, 11; Matt. 28:19).

God the Father-
God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all things. God created man in His image and likeness for communion and called man back to Himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man. (Genesis 1:26-28; Genesis 3:15,1 Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 4:6)

God the Son-
Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, is eternally God, the Alpha, Omega, and King of kings. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and all things were made through Him. For man's redemption, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit through the virgin birth. Jesus is the Lamb of God who died on the cross as the ultimate atonement for the sins of the world. He resurrected from the dead on the 3rd day, ascended to heaven, and is now at the Father's right hand, interceding for us. (John 1:1-4, Colossians 1:15-20)

God the Holy Spirit-
The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity,  is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He empowers the saints for the continuation of the ministry of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit cleanses man from the old nature and conforms us to the image of Christ. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 2:7, John 14:15-18,Acts 2:1-4,1 Corinthians 6:19;12:1-11, Galatians 5:22-25)

Salvation-

We believe eternal salvation is completely of God, through divine grace, based on the redemptive finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Salvation can not be received by the works or efforts of man. Salvation begins with confessing our sins, repentance, and fully putting our trust in Jesus Christ. We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (John 1:12;14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Timothy 1:9)

Evidence of Salvation-

The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Rom. 8:14-17). The outward evidence of salvation to the world is a life of holiness and living according to the principles of the Kingdom of God, which we find in the Bible. Salvation in Christ Jesus will not allow you to conform to the patterns of this world. (Romans 6:15-21;12:1-2;13:13-14,1 Thess. 4:7-8, Titus 2:11-14).

The Church-

The Church is a body of believers with Jesus as the head of the Church that comes together in unity to evangelize the lost, preach the gospel, set the captives free, heal the sick, and make disciples of all nations. We believe we are a continuation of the Book of Acts church and the extension of the kingdom of God here on earth. Also, all believers of Jesus Christ should connect, support, and serve in their local Church to gather the global harvest of souls. (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:18, Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Ephesians 1:22-23, Hebrews 10:25).

 The Five-fold ministry-

We believe that the five gifts/ministries that Jesus gave the Church, according to Ephesians 4:11-13 have been given to establish the government of the Church. We believe that the functions and grace of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers are still needed today. The fivefold ministry's mandate is to equip the saints for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up. In addition, it is to advocate for the unity of the faith, become mature believers, and obtain the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Elders, Deacons & Leadership-

We believe that elders, deacons, and church leadership also aid in establishing kingdom order and balance in the local Church through overseeing, services, and leadership. It is essential to the health of the Church that scriptural patterns of discipline are practiced and that oversight for Church discipline, individual and corporate, is exercised by the leadership of the Church.

Marriage-

God created marriage. It is a covenant made between a man and a woman that makes them one. (Gen 2: 22,24; Matt 19: 5-6, Ephesians 5:21-23).

Divine Healing and Freedom-

We believe that deliverance from sickness and demonic oppression is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of all believers (Isa. 53:4-5;61:1-3, Matt. 8:16-17;12:28, Mark 16:17-18).

Rapture of the Bride of Christ/ Our Blessed Hope

We believe in the personal, Glorious return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will come to meet his Bride in the air before the seven years of Tribulation begin. The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the Lord, is imminent and is the Church's blessed hope. (1 Thess. 4:15-5:1-11, Titus 2:13; 1 Cor. 15:51-53).

The Tribulation Period-

We teach that according to the Word of God, immediately following the rapture of the Church from earth to heaven, God's righteous wrath and judgment will be released upon the wicked unbelieving world. (Jeremiah 30:7, Daniel 9:27:12:1-2, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12

The 2nd Coming of Jesus-The Millennial Reign-

We believe that after the seven years of Tribulation, our Lord Jesus Christ will come to earth and reign on the throne of David. Jesus Christ will come and establish His messianic Kingdom for a thousand years on earth. During this time, the resurrected saints will reign with Jesus Christ over Israel and all the nations of the earth. The overthrow of the Antichrist, the false prophet, and the removal of Satan from the world will precede this reign. (Matthew 25:31-33,Luke 1:32-33, Acts 1:10-11, 2 Thess. 1:7-10; Rev. 19:1l-16; Rev. 20:l-7).

The Lake of Fire

The devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet, and whosoever's name is not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns Fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Matthew 25:41, Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).

The New Heavens and New Earth

As promised in the Scriptures, we look forward to a new heaven and earth wherein there is an eternal state of glory with God. We believe a new earth will replace the old wherein only righteousness abides. This heavenly city will come down from heaven and will be the dwelling place of the saints, where we enjoy eternal communion with God and one another. (2 Pet. 3:10-13; Rev. 21: l-7;22:1-5)
