We are Jermaine and Alexis Jones. We are honored to serve in the role of youth leaders here at Glory Hub. This ministry is close to our hearts for a few reasons. In our experience of walking with youth, Jones through education and myself through Child Protection Social Work, we’ve seen a clear pattern. Culture is often shaping their identity, mental health challenges are rising, and society is telling them to rely only on themselves.
But what we’ve also seen is that our youth are hungry and want a place to belong. They don’t want “church as usual.” They’re searching for God’s Word to be alive and real in their lives, and they are not afraid to ask the hard questions. That’s why we’re here! We are all about discipleship, walking with them as they learn to know Christ personally and walk in who he has called them to be.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
That’s the promise we stand on—that as our youth seek God with their whole heart he will reveal Himself in real and powerful ways.
